The Joint Equity Eligible Contractor (EEC) Parties is a collaborative alliance of certified contractors committed to advancing equity, access, and accountability in Illinois’ clean energy economy. Formed to ensure a strong and unified voice for Equity Eligible Contractors (EECs) participating in the Illinois Shines program, our coalition works to shape policies and create opportunity-rich pathways for diverse contractors across the state.

We are builders, electricians, solar developers, and workforce advocates — united by a shared vision of an inclusive energy transition that centers economic justice. Together, we advocate for fair implementation of energy programs, uphold high labor standards, and support one another in building strong, sustainable businesses.
